The Sportful Alpha Lycra Gloves are designed for cross country skiers who need extra warmth during cold weather sessions without sacrificing grip and control. These gloves are equipped with Polartec Alpha insulation, providing superior thermal performance while maintaining breathability. The Lycra fabric ensures a snug, flexible fit that moves naturally with your hands, enhancing dexterity and freedom of movement. The grip-enhanced palm ensures you maintain a secure hold on your ski poles, even during high-intensity activities or challenging conditions. Despite the added warmth, the gloves allow for maximum airflow, preventing overheating. This makes them ideal for colder days when maintaining warmth is essential, but breathability and performance are still priorities. These gloves are a warmer version of the Lycra Race Gloves, designed for athletes who need extra insulation while preserving the lightweight, breathable characteristics of Lycra. The Sportful Alpha Lycra Gloves offer a blend of comfort, warmth, and precision, making them perfect for serious cross country skiers who demand top-level performance in challenging conditions. Whether you’re training for a race or skiing recreationally in colder climates, these gloves provide the warmth and grip needed to push your limits.

How to find Your glove size.

Open your hand and place a tape measure around your base knuckles (do not include the thumb). You should use your dominant hand, the right if you are right-handed, and the left if you are left-handed. Now make a loose fist and measure circumference.
If you do not have a tape measure at your disposal you can use a thread to take the measurement and them determine the length of the thread using a ruler.

The given sizes are just a guideline. Gloves are designed differently according to their functions:
- Biking gloves are generally made from elastic materials with a comparatively tight fit in order to have the full transfer of power from hands to a handle bar
- Ski gloves must protect against coldness. Therefore they are from materials which enclose isolating air and their cut is wider
- Horse riding gloves must fit like a second skin because holding the reins requires high tactile sensitivity
