HP06 is a fluoro powder that is designed for use when snow temperatures are -10...-20 C (14...-4F). This is really cold snow. When the snow is this cold and the humidity is high waxing is critical. When seconds make a difference in race results skiers want the best wax for the conditions. HP06 increases the SOLDA range for fast skis in these cold damp extremes.
APPLICATION: Pure perfluorine alkanes are our most expensive products and those giving the best performance. They have no affinity with Polyethylene ski-bases and do not last long if applied directly. To make them long lasting and efficient, it is necessary to make a base layer by applying hot the ski wax of the F31 or F15 line, to be chosen according to use conditions (e.g. F31 or F15 Orange are an excellent base for Fluor, while F31 or F15 Violet or Blue good base for HP05). RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING FLUORINE APPLICATION: When ironing FLUOR on the ski-base, do not exceed 140°C, make sure the room is well ventilated and do not smoke. Wear a respirator when waxing for a long period of time. Conditions of use: Snow temperature: 23°... 30° F Relative humidity RH%: 50%...100%
