An extremely popular wax because it outperforms everything else on colder snow with high humidity (>40%). Also excellent on artificial snow. HP05 was consistently the fastest wax tested at the 2002 Olympics and almost all the National Teams bought this wax during the games.
Exceptional performances are generated by this stuff on cold snows and with mid air humidity.
APPLICATION: Pure perfluorine alkanes are our most expensive products and those giving the best performance. They have no affinity with Polyethylene ski-bases and do not last long if applied directly. To make them long lasting and efficient, it is necessary to make a base layer by applying hot the ski wax of the F31 or F15 line, to be chosen according to use conditions (e.g. F31 or F15 Orange are an excellent base for Fluor, while F31 or F15 Violet or Blue good base for HP05). RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING FLUORINE APPLICATION: When ironing FLUOR on the ski-base, do not exceed 140°C, make sure the room is well ventilated and do not smoke. Wear a respirator when waxing for a long period of time. Conditions of use: Snow temperature: 23°... 30° F Relative humidity RH%: 50%...100%
