Recommended operating range extends from watery conditions above 0° down to -2°C. Foxgel wet increases the water-repellence of waxes and decelerates the impurities from absorbing into the outer layers of wax. This emulsion works perfectly for coating of fluor powders and compressed fluor concentrates as well as paraffin and fluor-paraffin waxes. Foxgel Wet is highly suitable also for coating of mild weather grip waxes and klisters in difficult new snow conditions. The emulsion forms a thin, flexible, water- and impurities-repellent film on the surface of grip wax or klister. It does not weaken the grip-feature of waxes but it does improve the gliding significantly in watery conditions with suction. Because the emulsion also decreases the risk of grip waxes getting frozen, this emulsion works extremely well on tracks varying between dry and wet snow conditions. We recommend Foxgel Wet coating to be used for grip waxes whenever red or softer grip waxes are used. However for coarse snow conditions, this emulsion over grip waxes has not shown noticeable advantage.
