The basic idea of a structure on ski gliding surface is to transport excess water away from ski base and improve overall gliding. Therefore, wet and warmer snows conditions require a coarser structure capable to transport away more more water. Cold and dry snow conditions need finer base structure.
The set includes 3 rillers:
- 2 mm straight for high humidity and air temperature +15°...-6°:C (+59...22°F), old wet snow. This structure can be combined also with 1mm V-structure;
- 1 mm straight air temperature +5°...-10°:C (+41...14°F), fine artificial and natural transformed snow. This structure can be combined also with 1mm V-structure and with 2 mm straight;
- 1 mm V-structure (new snow) air temperature +2°...-15°:C (+36...5°F), fine natural snow. This structure can be combined also with 1 mm or 2 mm straight;
