Here are some comments on Maplus Flash wheels (78A):

a) The Maplus Flash wheels are very well processed; no PU is hanging around loosely on the rim

b) Having a hardness of 78A, the Maplus Flash wheels are rather soft; however, they are equally fast on fine asphalt compared to Eagle Sport wheels (82A); on rough asphalt they are faster and more comfortable due to less vibration
_ This becomes more evident when skating, not so much in downhills

c) I have a very good feeling on the Maplus wheels; they are light, easy to control and feel stable; the light Maplus wheels accelerate fast both when spinning them by hand and when actually starting to skate
_ This might be more important in sprint than in long-distance competitions

d) After approximately 400 km I see no strong wear of the Maplus wheels; they still have their sharp elliptic profile
_ The Eagle Sport wheels display stronger wear after the similar distance

e) the Maplus wheels have good grip on wet asphalt

I used the Maplus wheel in competition and experienced that they were at least equally fast as the wheels from competitors using Eagle, Swenor and other brands.
