Windproof and highly breathable Gore WINDSTOPPER® Softshell Elastic is used for the backhand. The palm is made of fine, non-slip ROECK-GRIP PU material that provides a good grip on the pole. This smooth, breathable and elastic material is particularly suitable for cross-country skiing gloves. A wide cuff at the wrist neatly seals off the glove. Öppna din hand och placera ett måttband runt fingrarna bas (inte ta med tummen). Du bör använda din dominerande hand, till höger om du är högerhänt och till vänster om du är vänsterhänt. Nu gör en lös knytnäve och mäta din omkrets.
Om du inte har ett måttband till ditt förfogande, kan du använda en tråd för att ta mätning, dem bestämma längden på tråden med en linjal.

Europen handske storlekar för vuxna mäts i gamla tum (franska: Pouce). En pouce är ca. 2,7 cm. storlek 8 därför 8 pouce = 21,6 cm.
De angivna storlekarna är bara en riktlinje. Handskar är annorlunda konstruerad enligt deras funktioner:
- Cykling handskar görs vanligtvis från elastiskt material med en relativt tät passning för att få fullständig överföring av makt från händer till en styret
- Skidhandskar måste skydda mot kyla. Därför är de från material som inneslutar isolerande luften och deras cut är bredare
- Handskar för ridning måste passa som en andra hud att hålla tyglarna kräver hög fingertoppskänsla
